Travel to the roots of good taste
In Carinthia, the Lesach, Gail and Gitschtal valleys as well as the Weissensee with its culinary center "Kötschach-Mauthen" have become the world's first slow food travel destination. This pilot project rests in the hands of those food artisans and food manufacturers who have always lived the slow food philosophy in this tranquil, almost quiet border region in southern Austria. And in the spirit of this slow enjoyment, they also like to let their craftsmanship look over their shoulder and pass on their knowledge.
